Anchorage police say Nicholas Showers-Glover, 22, showed up at the Anchorage Jail with attorney Rex Butler at about 3:30 a.m.
Showers-Glover had eluded police for more than four days after one roommate was killed and another wounded in a barrage of gunfire, police said. Jennifer Olson was killed, and her boyfriend, 22-year-old Kori Johnson, was wounded.
Showers-Glovers girlfriend at the time was Johnsons sister. All four lived in a duplex off Boniface Parkway when the shooting occurred Friday afternoon. The couple had been lying in bed watching a movie when they were shot, police said.
Showers-Glover fled the scene and escaped despite a massive police search including dogs and a helicopter. A warrant for first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder was issued for his arrest.
Showers-Glover is scheduled for his first court appearance at the Anchorage Jail at 3 p.m. today.
