Kikkan Randall 2007 World Championships

The United States' Kikkan Randall racing to the finish line during women's 1.2 km sprint free at the cross-country World Cup event in Demino some 350 km (219 miles) north of Moscow, Russia, Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007. Randall became the first U.S. woman and second American to win a World Cup cross country race Sunday when she defeated world sprint champion Astrid Jacobsen of Norway in the final meters of a 1.2-kilometer freestyle.
