Who: Only voters within the city's Road and Drainage Service Area (excludes Eagle River, Girdwood and parts of the Hillside) would pay the debt, but it must be approved by both service area and areawide voters.
What it would do: Pay for more than 40 road and drainage projects around the city, including downtown sidewalk and lighting upgrades, reconstruction of 58th Avenue between Arctic Boulevard and Silverado Way and reconstruction in the Bayshore West subdivision.
History: Voters typically approve all of the proposed road bonds each year. In 2007, voters approved $35.9 million for projects around the city.
