The price of North Slope oil sold on West Coast open markets closed Tuesday at a record high of $121.84 a barrel, up $1.87 for the day.

The U.S. natural gas price, at the Lower 48's Henry Hub, was $11.12 per million BTU on Tuesday, up 25 cents from Monday's price.

Gold prices closed at $876 per ounce today on the New York Mercantile Exchange, up $3.70 for the day.
