Friday's oil, gas, gold, zinc prices

The price of North Slope oil sold on West Coast open markets reached a record high for the fourth day in a row, closing Friday at $125.96 a barrel, up $2.27 for the day.

The U.S. natural gas price, at the Lower 48's Henry Hub, was $11.29 per million BTU on Friday, down 3 cents from Thursday's price.

Gold prices closed at $884.50 per ounce today on the New York Mercantile Exchange, up $3.90 for the day.

Zinc prices closed at $1.0307 per pound today, down 2.04 cents from Thursday's price.
