The price of North Slope oil sold on West Coast open markets closed Monday at $124.23 a barrel, down $1.73 for the day.

The U.S. natural gas price, at the Lower 48's Henry Hub, was $11.37 per million BTU on Wednesday, up 8 cents from Friday's price.

Gold prices closed at $883.70 per ounce today on the New York Mercantile Exchange, a loss of 80 cents.
