Wade has been charged with illegal weapons possession, drug possession, bank fraud and murder. His trial for bank fraud, weapons and murder is tentatively for next May, and there is a possibility he will face the death penalty.

Wade us accused of killing Schloss, dumping her body in a wooded area in Wasilla, and using her ATM card to withdraw money. The drug charge is related to having marijuana while in prison.

One of Wade's attorneys, Gilbert Levy, said he would object to scheduling the drug trial before the murder trial because the publicity could taint the jury pool second trial. That trial will be held in Fairbanks.

Wade is currently jailed in Washington.
