Molly, the Alaska Zoo's snow leopard, gave birth to two babies. Molly became aggressive with the cubs after they were born, so the cubs were removed. One cub died because of complications related to a cleft palate. Zoo spokeswoman Eileen Floyd says the cub pictured later died from internal injuries.

The Alaska Zoo says two snow leopard cubs born at the zoo this week have died.
Molly, a snow leopard, gave birth to the cubs Tuesday night. One died Wednesday morning of complications from a cleft palate.
Zoo spokeswoman Eileen Floyd says the other cub died Wednesday night from internal injuries.
The cubs were removed from their mother when she became aggressive toward one of them.
