The price of North Slope oil sold on West Coast open markets closed today at $124.04 a barrel, up $1.10 for the day.

U.S. natural gas, at the Lower 48's Henry Hub, was $9.69 per million BTU today, down 16 cents from Wednesday's price.

Gold closed at $ 922.00 per ounce today on the New York Mercantile Exchange, down $28.10 from Wednesday.
