The Frank Adams murder trial scheduled to start Tuesday has been postponed until mid-February, said Assistant District Attorney Rachel Gernat.
The prosecutor said a new medical examiner expert will be called, and both she and the defense attorney have trials in the fall that create conflicts in their schedules.
Adams now is scheduled to stand trial Feb. 17 in Palmer Superior Court for the first-degree murder of Stacey Johnston, 42. Adams, now 46, is also charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and tampering with evidence.
