The Aces celebrated when defenseman Bryan Miller bagged a power-play goal at 1:52 of sudden-death overtime to take its second win in the three-game series that concluded with Miller's strike. The assist went to Matt Shasby, the league's leading scorer among defensemen.

Aces goaltender Chris Holt made 43 saves.

The Aces improved to 12-3-1 in the ECHL. They lost 3-1 Friday, but their reversal Saturday means they have not lost back-to-back games this season.

Rookie Jordan Foreman struck midway through the first period to stake the Aces to a 1-0 lead and second-year center Luke Erickson added another goal seven minutes later for a 2-0 Alaska advantage.

Erickson's goal extended his points streak to four games, and that stretch has been pivotal with the Aces dressing a thin lineup due to call-ups to the American Hockey League and various injuries.

Veteran winger Cam Keith assisted on Erickson's goal to extend his points streak to a team-best 11 games.

Veteran winger Colin Hemingway pumped in a power-play goal in the second period to give the Aces a 3-0 cushion.

Victoria closed the gap to 3-1 later in the period when Shaun Landolt scored on the power play. Dan Gendur cut the margin to 3-2 with a goal early in the third period, and then Olivier Labelle tacked on the game-tying goal that sent the match at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre to overtime.

The Aces return home today, but they soon head out on another road trip.

Alaska next week plays three games in California, one in Stockton and two in Ontario.
