The AMMC Racing X-treme Motor Madness Expo got underway Friday afternoon, April 29, at Alyeska Resort with the hill climb event.
The Alyeska Motor Madness event kicked off Friday, April 30, 2010, with a hill climb competition. The event continues through the weekend with snowcross racing, a freestyle show and more at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood.
The Iron Dog started in 1984 with a 1000-mile race from Big Lake to Nome. On its 10th anniversary in 1994, officials added another 1,000 miles, from Nome to Fairbanks.
