Judy White was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which took place about 3:30 p.m. on a section of the highway about a mile west of the intersection with Trunk Road. White's age was not immediately available.
Troopers' spokeswoman Megan Peters said both vehicles were headed east at the time of the crash, and it appeared that White was either traveling at low speed or was stopped when she was rear-ended by the other vehicle.
The name of the other driver was not immediately available, Peters said.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, she said.
