The Christmas spirit shone brightly at the Palmer Elks Lodge during a special Santa party for kids with special needs on Dec. 20.
I would like to thank the Palmer Elks Lodge, Preferred Mortgage, LINKS Parent Resource Center, the Marine Corps and all of the compassionate individuals who sponsored the Santa party. The kids who attended smiled ear to ear with their hand-picked gifts.
It is heartwarming to live in a community where so many people are involved with helping others and are willing to share their time to spread joy during the holiday season. Thank you!
