Lathrop grabbed a 2-0 first-period lead and held on to beat Chugiak in Friday's nonconference game at the McDonald Center in Eagle River.

Alex Hajdukovich bagged two goals for Lathrop, while Stephon Williams stopped 24 shots to earn the win in goal.

Ben Matthews and Ben Morse registered goals for the Mustangs.

Dimond 18, Bartlett 0

Dimond picked apart Bartlett on Friday, racking up nine goals in the second period to cruise to a Cook Inlet Conference win at Ben Boeke Arena.

Junior Scott Wamsganz bagged three goals for the first-place Lynx, who scored five power-play goals.

Steve DeBoer turned away 73 shots for the Golden Bears.

West 7, Soldotna 4

Dylan Wisthoff and Cooper Street each scored two goals Friday as West pulled away from a 2-2 tie in the second period to earn a nonconference win on the Kenai Peninsula.

Blake Mendenhall turned back 26 shots on goal to earn his sixth victory in net.

South 6, Eagle River 0

Austin Wuthrich continued his puck prowess Thursday as he bagged four goals to help give South a big CIC victory over Eagle River at the McDonald Center in Eagle River.

The sophomore forward has five goals and four assists for nine points this week.
