The Army says the body of Sgt. Naquan Reinaldo Williams Jr. of New York City was discovered Sunday night.

The 32-year-old Williams was a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear specialist assigned to the Anchorage base nearly three years ago.

An autopsy is being performed, and the Army Criminal Investigation Command is investigating.
