WHAT: TSS Photography and The Cage -- which will be housed in a 3,400-square-foot, two-story building -- will contain offices for both businesses as well as a new studio so that TSS can expand into the portrait and senior markets. TSS annually photographs about 20,000 students and youth in sports, said co-owner John Hitchcock. TSS stood for The Sports Section until the name changed three years ago. "Our main clientele is youth sports leagues, although we have expanded in the last three years to include school photography," said Hitchcock. "We are excited to also have a new studio that incorporates state of the art digital projection and imaging. We also have an office in Fairbanks and are looking to start one in Juneau within the next year." The Cage is a full-service, eight-lane batting cage with four speeds of baseball and slow and fast pitch softball machines. Hitchcock and his wife, Cindy, own both businesses.
