UAA's Parker is MVP

Freshman Alex Parker, a two-time All-America alpine skier who won six races this season and helped UAA finish fourth among teams nationally, was named the Seawolves ski team's Most Valuable Player at its recent awards banquet. Junior Lacy Saugstad, another alpine, skier was named Most Improved -- she posted three top-10 finishes this season and made it to nationals.

Also, nordic freshman Lex Treinen, senior Raphael Wunderle and sophomore Max Treinen shared the Most Inspirational Award for finishing 2-3-5 in the national championship freestyle race.
