The Indoor Football League's Alaska Wild, who play their second game of the season Thursday at Sullivan Arena, have signed linebacker/defensive back Edwin James and defensive back Charles McCrea.
James played in the Intense Football League All-Star Game last season for the San Angelo Stampede Express and McCrea played for the Louisiana Swashbucklers. The Swashbucklers won the Intense Football League championship in 2008, and that league since merged with the United Indoor Football League to former the Indoor Football League.
The Wild on Thursday entertain the Maryland Maniacs at 7:05 p.m.
