The Detroit International Jazz festival boasts six stages and 100 acts, featuring the Brubeck family, the John Pizzarelli Quartet, the Clayton Brothers Quintet, T.S. Monk and Hank Jones; Sept. 4-7.
Sail to the Caribbean and visit Grand Turk, St. Thomas, St. Barths and Half Moon Cay on Holland America's Jazz Cruise. The only full ship charter dedicated to "straight-ahead" jazz; Nov. 8-15.
