NEWTOK -- Alaska State Troopers and the Civil Air Patrol were looking for two overdue hunters Monday.

Village officials reported that 29-year-old Jacob Tobeluk Jr. of Nunapitchuk and 28-year-old Roman Carol of Newtok left Sunday on a seal hunt in the Hazen Bay area in a 16-foot boat.

The village on Monday sought help from troopers. Aircraft are searching for the two.
