At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, the summit is hosting a free world music and dance concert, called "A Celebration of World Communities." The headline act is Robby Romero, a Lower 48 Native American rock star, and the concert will also include music and dance from Hawaiian, South Pacific, Alaska, Hmong, African, Philippine, Peruvian and St. Laurence Island performers.
The final day of the summit, Friday, also offers sessions open to the public. To read the agenda, go to www.indigenoussummit.com.
All events, including the free concert, are in the Dena'ina Convention Center's third-floor ballroom.
