The effort by the state labor department was launched Monday in Emmonak and involves business recruiters as well as employment and training specialists.
Career fairs also were being held Thursday in Anchorage and Saint Michael, and were held earlier in the week in Fairbanks, Shaktoolik and Gambell.
Career fairs are scheduled May 1 in Chevak and May 6 in Palmer.
Labor department staffers also plan an outreach visit to Savoonga on Tuesday.
Department representatives plan visits to Shishmaref, May 11; Stebbins, May 13, Gambell, May 19-20 and St. Michael, May 27.
