Officials say the robber held up the First National Bank Alaska at 1210 W. Northern Lights Blvd. at about 2 p.m.

The man demanded money of a teller, took an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled, the FBI said.

He was seen running across Northern Lights and heading northbound on foot.

The FBI described the robber as a white man, about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He was in his mid-20s and had a bald or shaved head, the FBI said.

The robber was wearing a grey hooded sweat shirt, black Carhartt pants and dark sunglasses.

The robbery was the fourth in Alaska this year, the FBI said.

Anyone with information about it is asked to call the FBI at 276-4441 or police at 786-8900.
