The name Falafel House is actually a bit misleading -- this Middle Eastern spot is actually a food wagon in the parking lot of Alaska Professional Auto, across from the Napa on Dowling Road. The menu features steak and chicken shawarma, kebabs, hummus and baklava along with its signature dish.

The falafel sandwich is stuffed with fried chickpea patties, shredded cabbage, pickle slices and chunks of tomato and cucumber. The provided containers of tahini (sesame paste) and spicy hot sauce help bring the sandwich to life. This "house" doesn't have any seating, but the pita pocket keeps the treat ready to handle a trip to the park or back to the office.
