4.1 earthquake felt Tuesday

FAIRBANKS -- A light earthquake was felt Tuesday in the Cook Inlet area.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center said the quake occurred at 10:39 a.m. Tuesday and was centered 57 miles south-southeast of Iliamna. It had a preliminary magnitude of 4.1.

The center says the quake was felt in Homer, Seward, Anchorage and Ninilchik.

There were no reports of damage.
