AROUND THE HORN

The Bucs scored four times in the fifth inning to rally past the Miners, who led 5-2 coming into the inning.

Brian Bello hit a three-run homer to left centerfield to tie the game for the Bucs, who won 8-5 at Hermon Brothers Field.

Tyler Sibley finished with three hits and two runs scored for the Bucs.

The Oregon Black Sox led by one run going into the ninth inning, when Oregon's Spenser Rowland doubled to left field, driving in three runs. On that play, the Bucs' Dusty Robinson slammed into the left-field wall, leaving the field with what appeared to be an injured left arm. The Sox won 8-4 in non-league action at Mulcahy Stadium.

Today, the Pilots play a Businessperson's Special -- a 2 p.m. game against the Michigan Monarchs at Mulcahy, scheduled at a time when workers can grab lunch at the ballpark.
