Consider for a moment, if there were no bibles, no christianity or other religions. There would be no issues re: equality of treatment of for homosexuals or other persons of sexual orientation. There would be no issues re: special rights for churches ie; tax exemptions for churches; no issues re: vouchers for public schools; no issues re: what is being taught in schools; and no issues between the religious and non-religious. Couldn't we all "just get along" a whole lot better?

Jerks? I'll tell you about jerks

I too am an Aces fan. I missed three games all year and my wife and I have been season ticket holders for several years. Before anyone starts calling our fans jerks they should go to some away games.

My wife, son and I went to games 3,4 &5 of the finals in South Carolina. Those jerks down there made nasty gestures to our team constantly and in front of their own children. They threw things at the Aces as they entered and left the ice - Matt Stefanishion every time he entered the ice as he once played for South Carolina. I personally had a Stingrays jersey thrown over my head during game 3 and I watched another Aces fan get attacked after the Aces won game 5. On that one the police had to come.

I don't want to hear about our fans being "jerks" after seeing what "jerks" really are.

Out of the attic, on to the web

No more hiding. I'm coming out of the attic. I'm lippy and I'm not going to shut up. It's time to get a law on the books that will guarantee my rights to say whatever I want to anyone I want. Oh wait, does the First Amendment give me that right? Must be the thing that gives us all the right to bore one another with all this gossip that is nobody's business.

I truly have nothing against almost all people who are not trying to murder me or others. But most of the details of others' lives are none of my business or mine theirs. We should have much better things to do, let's do them in private and keep it that way. There must be a merciful reason the left hand shouldn't know what the right hand is doing.
