After trading in his junior dragster for a V-Max snowmachine this season, Carl Reimann of Chugiak won his first trophy in open-air competition Sunday at Alaska Raceway Park in Wasilla. Reimann beat Craig Otto of Anchorage, who was riding a Destroyer 1,300cc bike. The race course was soaked by a Saturday night rainfall but was dry and ready to go Sunday morning. Skip Gosch ended his dry spell by roaring to his first win of the season in his GTX, beating a Dart 440 driven by Mike Mihalka of Anchorage in top ET competition.
