Anthony Palmer, vice president of Alaska operations for TransCanada Corp., will make an appearance Monday at the Westmark Hotel to talk about recent developments in plans to construct a pipeline to transport natural gas from Alaska's North Slope to the Lower 48.
Palmer's appearance, sponsored by the Alaska Black Chamber of Commerce, will take place at 2 p.m. at the hotel at 720 W. Fifth Ave. Because seating is limited, reservations with payment are required. Admission will be $18 for Chamber members and $27 for non-members. For reservations, call 274-1201.
