-- In their first league victory of the season, the Fairbanks Goldpanners defeated Athletes in Action 8-1 in the first game of Saturday's double-header. Mike McCarthy pitched all seven innings for the Panners and struck out 10 batters.

-- The Adult League All Stars held a 2-2 tie with the Anchorage Bucs until the Bucs earned four fourth-inning runs. Eddie Young topped off the scoring with one run the in sixth inning.
