A bicyclist died this evening after being struck by a vehicle at Tudor and Elmore roads a few minutes after 5 p.m., Anchorage police said.
The bicyclist, who has not been identified, was sped to a hospital in critical condition. He died at the hospital not long after arriving.
Police said the man apparently drove into the intersection against the light and was hit by a vehicle traveling west on Tudor at about 45 mph. He was knocked across the intersection, police said.
