A shooting in Sand Lake late Sunday left one woman injured and police looking for possible suspects. The woman suffered a bullet wound to the head but was still conscious, breathing and able to speak as she was transported to a hospital, said Anchorage police Lt. Dave Parker.
The shooting occurred at 8:30 p.m. near Strawberry Road and Northwood Street and involved at least two vehicles, Parker said. The victim's vehicle was a red sedan. The shooter's vehicle was a green SUV, which police were looking for late Sunday.
