-- The Anchorage Bucs used a five-run fourth inning to win an 11-9 slugfest with Athletes in Action in Fairbanks to move within two games of league-leading Mat-Su. Kellen Kiilsgaard provided the big hit of the night for the Bucs with a two-run homer in the third.
-- Cody Kendall scattered four hits over seven innings to lead the Oilers past the league-leading Miners in Mat-Su. The Miners led 1-0 after one inning but Peninsula took the lead for good with two runs in the third. Chris Ellison fueled the offense for the Oilers with a pair of runs and a 3-for-5 hitting effort.
