Service shortstop Chase Barrus led the Cougars to an 8-6 victory over Eagle River with four runs, four hits and a pair of RBIs Saturday at Mulcahy Stadium in the third day of the BP Exploration Invitational Tournament. In other tournament action:

• Patrick McFarland furnished one run, a pair of hits and three RBIs to help East edge West 11-10

• On Friday, Matt Sullivan recorded one hit, one run and four RBIs to help Chugiak dominate East 14-4.

East pitcher Austin Cassaday tallied two hits and two runs.
