USKH Inc. recently hired Bruce Beck as manager of the environmental services division. He currently works from the Anchorage office leading all USKH's environmental efforts in both Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Beck has more than 20 years of experience in the environmental and construction industry, including the management of staff in support of numerous environmental assessments, investigations, feasibility studies, community interest meetings, demolition, abatement and remote-site cleanups in Alaska and the Lower 48. He is a Certified Environmental Inspector (CEI) and Environmental Specialist (CES) through the Environmental Assessment Association.

Claudia Clark, Ph.D., has accepted the position of interim associate dean of the College of Business and Public Policy at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Clark has more than two decades of experience in higher education academic and administrative leadership and mass media management. Most recently, Clark led the public television network serving the majority of Alaska as KUAC and AlaskaOne as director of television programming and production. She will oversee student advising and retention activities, accreditation, alumni relations, marketing, and many other functions integral to the college's success.
