The Village blog, ADN: Adolph Pleasant of the Yup'ik village of Quinhagak recently caught a salmon shark in Kuskokwim Bay off the Bering Sea -- about 20 miles from town. "I thought it was just another halibut, but it was fighting so much, I thought it was the biggest halibut I caught," Pleasant said. He kept the jaws and gave the rest away.
