A wild ride in Southcentral this year

Cow parsnip is tall and thick. Biting flies are hungry. But it's hard to beat mountain biking in Southcentral.

This year is a good one with firm trails most everywhere. The view can extend for miles and a swim in a mountain lake can be the reward for hard day of pedaling.

Powerline Pass trail is overgrown, tough and steep, so less experienced riders might try the APU trails or, in the Mat-Su, Kepler-Bradley and Crevasse Moraine trails.
