Xeuy Sikeo had twice before -- in 2001 and 2003 -- been convicted of sexually abusing minors. This latest case occurred in the fall of 2007.
The 11-year-old victim was apparently asleep when Sikeo slipped into her bedroom and raped her. The girl eventually told her mother what she remembered of the attack. A doctor who examined her discovered she was pregnant.
Two weeks ago, John Leopold of Alakanuk also received a 99-year sentence in Bethel for his third sex-related offense.
"We want Alaskans to know that we're using every tool available to take these dangerous perpetrators off the street," said Attorney General Dan Sullivan in a statement. "The message is that serial offenders can expect to be locked up for good."
