Lu Young died August 2, 2009 at her home in Great Falls, Va. She was 67. A memorial service for her will also be held Tuesday, August 18, 2009, in Anchorage.

Today's memorial service for Lu Young, late wife of Alaska Congressman Don Young, will be televised live statewide from the Anchorage Baptist Temple. It will be available on GCI Channel 1 starting at 11 a.m. Young died Aug. 2 at her home in Great Falls, Va. She was 67.
