Homer Spit will finally get full trail, city says

Link: Homer Tribune The city of Homer is planning to take over from the state construction of a pedestrian/bike trail on the Spit and get the long-stalled project moving again. The trail currently ends about halfway down the Spit; the city wants to extend it the full 4.7 miles from Kachemak Drive to Land's End Resort. New tourist-friendly features might include rest rooms.
