The Dimond Lynx placed second over the weekend at the Queen Creek Invitational volleyball tournament in Queen Creek, Arizona. Dimond's Deanna Nielson was named to the all-tournament team at the 15-team tournament. Dimond coach Kim Lauwers said Taylor Adams and Amanda Howard also had a strong showing for the Lynx, who lost to Sandra Day O'Connor High of Glendale, Ariz., in the championship match.
