Before embarking on a fourth season of indoor football, the Alaska Wild already are on their eighth head coach with Saturday's announcement that Darnell Lee will take over the reins. Lee won three championships guiding the Louisiana Swashbucklers of the Intense Football League. The Wild play in the Indoor Football League.
Lee will have no small task before him. The Wild last season went 0-14. In three seasons, they are just 7-36, and their history has been rife with coaching changes, ownership changes and front-office intrigue.
Lee replaces Sonny Rodriguez, who went 0-6 after replacing Floyd Johnson, who started the season 0-8.
