Key Bank has announced Marc Streebel as the new manager for the South Anchorage branch on the Old Seward Highway. Streebel recently relocated to Anchorage from Depew, N.Y., where he managed the French Borden Key Bank branch. He has been with Key since 2004.
R&M has announced several staff changes. Stephen Cegelka, P.E., is now group manager of structural engineering. Cegelka will work with Duane Anderson, who expects to retire in about five years, to get to know R&M clients and be prepared to take over management of the structural engineering group. He has worked on diverse projects including military facilities, airports, rural and urban schools and industrial facilities.
Jack Colonell has joined the local office of Environmental Resources Management, a leading global provider of environmental, health and safety, risk and social consulting services. Colonell has designed and managed projects in virtually all coastal and marine environments of Alaska. He also has experience elsewhere in the United States, Azerbaijan, Philippines and Venezuela.
Hattenburg Dilley & Linnell, a consulting firm specializing in civil, environmental, transportation and geotechnical engineering; surveying and construction management; has made several promotions and hires. Jeff Fuglestad, PE, recently obtained his professional engineer license. Fuglestad has 22 years of experience with transportation studies, roadway and utility design, and surveying in Alaska. He is a senior transportation engineer. Fred Schwaderer, PLS, joined the Palmer office as senior surveyor and designer. He is a registered land surveyor with 31 years of statewide project experience in surveying and transportation design. John Thornley, MS, EIT, was hired as a staff geotechnical engineer. Thornley has a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Nevada Reno and three years of experience in geotechnical field exploration and design. Janie Dusel, EIT has joined HDL as a staff design engineer specializing in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and water, wastewater and site development projects. Dusel has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University.
