The 36-foot fishing vessel Rascal ran aground and began sinking near St. Lazaria Island in Sitka Sound about 9 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2009, the Coast Guard said. Coast Guard investigators in Sitka will investigate the cause of the grounding and sinking. The vessel contained an estimated 450 gallons of diesel fuel. Photo taken in 2005
