ALL SOUL’S EVE ORGAN RECITAL. As part of trick-or-treat activities organized by Anchorage Lutheran Church, 1420 N St., Marcia Stratman will present a series of short recitals featuring some of the spookiest organ music ever written. Concerts take place each half hour starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Free.
ANCHORAGE SYMPHONY HALLOWEEN FAMILY CONCERT, with costumed musicians, a kooky story and not-so-spooky music. Costumes are encouraged for this popular Anchorage tradition, where there will be four floors of warm indoor trick-or-treating after the concert.

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM. The Museum of Alaska Transportation and Industry, 3800 W. Museum Dr., just north of Wasilla on the Parks Highway, offers a safe and warm place to trick or treat. Come see characters come to life, spooky flashlight train tour, old time cartoons, candy, popcorn and more. 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. $5.

MURDER MYSTERY at the Historic Anchorage Hotel, 330 E. St. Become a part of one of Anchorage’s most famous mysteries as you wine and dine with the famous and infamous characters associated with the death of Anchorage’s first police chief — on that very spot! — in 1921. 5 p.m.-11 a.m. Friday.
