The state on Sunday is unveiling the remodeled A and B concourses at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The concourses were shut down in 2007 and have undergone a $195 million face-lift that included redoing the ticket counters and baggage-claim areas in that part of the airport, state Transportation Department officials said. The state owns the airport.

Some airlines moved to concourse C or to the airport's North Terminal during the renovation. They will gradually migrate back to the South Terminal and the renovated A and B concourses in November, state officials said.

A ceremony to reopen the concourses is scheduled for around 11 a.m. Sunday. Lt. Gov. Craig Campbell, and Transportation Commissioner Leo von Scheben will be present.
