U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski has scheduled a town hall meeting on health care reform from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mirror Lake Middle School in the Chugiak area.
A health care reform bill passed the U.S. House Saturday night. Senate leaders want to have a version of the legislation on the Senate floor for a vote before Thanksgiving, the Washington Post reported. Sen. Murkowski previously held town hall meetings on health care in Anchorage, Fairbanks, the Mat-Su Valley and the Kenai Peninsula. She held a video meeting with residents in Kodiak.
