Marc Hoffmeister, who was injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq in 2007, gave the keynote address during a Veterans and Remembrance Day ceremony in the Alaska National Guard armory at Fort Richardson on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2009. Canadian Forces from Elmendorf AFB held a Remembrance Day ceremony at the Fort Richardson National Cemetery.
