Allan Hayes, 56, is identified as the victim.

Troopers got a call at 5:30 p.m. from Hayes' boating partner, 60-year-old David Sweat, that Hayes had fallen over from their boat, the Willow, in Canoe Passage and was unresponsive.

Search and rescue teams, including the U.S. Coast Guard, responded.

Hayes' body has been sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy, said trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters.

She said there is no indication of foul play.
